Volunteering Opportunities

Thatcham Youth is always looking for help from volunteers and are open to all offers of help. All volunteers must be at least 14 years old (may vary depending on activity). Whether you have no experience or have volunteered in the past, we welcome all volunteers who are enthusiastic.

If you are interested in any of the below volunteering opportunities then please contact Dan Carter our Head of Youth Activities at dan.carter@thatchamyouth.org.uk

Our Committee are always looking for new volunteers to help out. You would be required to attend meetings once every two months to review our exsisting activities, vote on and propose new youth provision ideas and decisions that affect us.

Sports Volunteer
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help run our sporting activities, whether that is something indoors in the sports hall such as basketball, or on our outdoor MUGA, such as football. Volunteers can either help out or can take a lead on activities.

Have a special interest in either arts, crafts or music? Whether you want to lead an arts activity, teach young people how to play instruments or simply help our staff run arts & music activities, Inters Youth Club needs your help.

Club Volunteer
Don't have a particular interest but still want to help with providing youth provision at Inters Youth Club? Then feel free to volunteer by helping out with whatever is necessary, whether it be sports, arts, music, running the tuck shop; we have plenty going on that you could help out with!
