We are really excited to annouce that once again, both of our youth clubs are back up and running, all be it in a different manner to normal. Vision Youth Club has been split into two bubble age groups, of 7-9 and 10&11, both allowing up to 15 young people per bubble. They take part in an hours sport & an hours arts & crafts, pool, chill out area. Entry is still just £1 but everyone must be booked in online to attend club.
Although Thatcham are not able to celebrate ‘Warming up for Christmas" with their well-attended gatherings over the festive period. The Town Council supported by key Thatcham community groups are instead planning a series of four festive installations spread throughout Thatcham. Families are encouraged to make their own stars, which can then be displayed on a ‘Big Star Installation’ closest to them.
Whilst we have had to close our in person youth clubs during the November lockdown, we are going to be running some virtual sessions in their place.
We will be running The Zone Virtual Youth Club every Monday 7pm-8.30pm & every Monday 6pm-7.30pm. They are completely free to attend and open to anyone aged 15 and under. The sessions will be run by our trained youth workers and completely free to attend.

Well sadly, just as we had got up and running again, we have had to close our doors due to the national lockdown.
Both our Vision Youth Club & The Zone will be closed throughout November. In their place we will be offering virtual youth clubs, the details for which are below. And if your son/daughter is struggling during the lockdown and needs to talk to someone, our staff are always here for them.

Well here we are in October, its been quite a while since our last update! It certainly wasn't intentional, but we have had issues with the website, but we are now back up and running.
So it's been a while since we last wrote on the website. From all of us here at Thatcham Youth, we hope you and your families are doing well during this difficult time. All of our activities have been closed due to the pandemic, but we are hoping that will soon change.
The Zone for 11-14 year olds has been running virtually for the last few weeks and is well attended and enjoyed by the young people who take part. Its completely free to join in and anyone aged 11-14 is welcome, so get in touch with us to find out how to get involved!
It has been a little while since my last blog in November. To say the least, it has been a bit of a hectic few months for lots of reasons, including the Coronavirus pandemic currently affecting the UK.
