Thatcham Youth in partnership with Wickes & Vodafone are giving Moorside Community Centre on Urquhart Road on the Kennet Heath Estate, Thatcham a fresh lease of life; with Wickes donating paint & equipment and Vodafone providing Volunteers for the project. It will be the first refresh the centre has had in quite some time.
The community centre is used by the Reintegration Unit, Thatcham Pre-school and hired out for private use by Thatcham Youth, who also run Vision Youth Club on Friday evenings for 8-12 year olds.
So Vision Youth Club has a new programme of activities for the coming months and we've had some great things going on already with loads more coming up!
We have sand art, badge making, clay moddeling, scratch art & more! We are also teaming up with Heartstart Thatcham to deliver CPR & recovery position training to our young people, as well as Berkshire Youth to deliver a Fit 4 Youth course around healthy living.
We hope to see lots of you at the club over the next couple of months, new & old!

We joined acclaimed French artist Olivier Grossetête and his team to put together parts of a giant cardboard replica of Donnington Castle in Newbury's town centre on Sunday 29 May.
