A look back on 2015

So with the new year quickly approaching and Thatcham Youth taking a short break over Christmas we thought it was a good time to look back at some of the things that have happened over the last year to Thatcham Youth.

Busy night for Vision Youth Club

Tonight - September 18th was the first session for Vision Youth Club at the Moorside Community Centre following our recent move. The night was a great success & enjoyed by all the young people, a total of 51 whom attended, with many new members joining! The young people were able to take part in painting, biscuit decorating & Berkshire Youth's SPLAT team running a dodge ball session in the sports hall; there was also a pool table & football table out to play! And as always the Tuck Shop went down a treat!

Moorside MUGA Project

On Tuesday 7th April 2015, Thatcham Youth took on a project to renovate the Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) at Moorside Community Centre, Urquhart Road, Thatcham. The MUGA was looking tired and in need of attention, so Thatcham Youth approached the owners and offered to undertake the work in return for permission to open the MUGA for young people to use during the school Easter holiday.
